This policy describes how personal data is processed for users browsing https://www.rivacentresuites.com ("the Site"), pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").

2. Data We Collect
The Site has no data-collection forms or user accounts. We process personal data only in the following cases:
- Direct contact:if you write to us via WhatsApp or email (e.g. to check a suite's availability), we process your phone number or email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message, solely to reply to you.
- Bookings: when you book a suite, you are directed to the Lodgify booking system (rivacentresuites.lodgify.com), operated by Lodgify Ltd. as an independent data controller. Data entered during booking and payment (name, contact details, card details) is processed directly by Lodgify under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review before proceeding.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis
We process the above data to: respond to requests for information or availability (legal basis: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject, Art. 6.1.b GDPR); for statistical and marketing purposes, only with prior consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR); to comply with legal obligations, including reporting to public security authorities regarding guests staying at the property, as required by Italian regulations on short-term rentals (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
4. Data Retention
Messages received via email or WhatsApp are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, plus a limited further period for evidentiary purposes in case of disputes. Data relating to bookings and payments is retained by Lodgify in accordance with its own terms and applicable tax/legal obligations.
5. Disclosure and Transfer of Data
Data may be shared with third parties acting as independent controllers or processors, to the extent strictly necessary to provide the service:
- Lodgify Ltd. — online booking and payment platform;
- Vercel Inc. — hosting and technical infrastructure for the Site;
- Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. — map display (Google Maps) and, only if activated with your consent, analytics services (Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager);
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — only if activated with your consent (Meta Pixel).
Some of these providers are based in the United States; data transfer takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or another adequacy mechanism provided for by the GDPR.
6. Your Rights
As a data subject, you have the right to request at any time access to your personal data, rectification or erasure of it, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR).
